📋 How to Use – Like a Professional
Before Measuring:
1. Sit quietly and rest for 5 minutes.
2. Empty your bladder. Do not talk during measurement.
3. Sit upright. Place your arm on a table so your forearm is at heart level.
Using the Included Stethoscope:
Place the chestpiece over the brachial artery (inside of elbow, just below the cuff). Insert earpieces with the angled side facing forward.
Inflate the Cuff:
Close the air valve tightly. Pump until the dial reads 20–30 mmHg above your expected systolic pressure (typically 160–180 mmHg).
Deflate & Read:
Open the valve slowly (2–3 mmHg per second).
· First clear sound = Systolic pressure.
· Last sound before silence = Diastolic pressure.
Record Your Result:
Write as 120/80 mmHg (systolic/diastolic). Note date and time to track trends.
